Beyond TV is a great product and I love the user interface. The software is well thought out and implemented. But, I am frustrated by the lack of Clear QAM support. I can only receive one digital over-the-air channel where I live and don't want to spend the money for digital cable or satellite. I check Snapstream's website every week hoping that there is a new release which supports Clear QAM with the Hauppage cards. I hope this is coming soon. I also purchased Beyond Media, but have not seen any new releases for it in a long time - has it been dropped by Snapstream? It also has a great user interface and is easy to use.

I started out running Beyond TV 4 on a 64bit system with Win XP Pro x64.
Built another Athlon 64 bit System with Beyond TV 4 with Vista home Premium x64. I have no problem with either one.

I have the same problem with 2 files. I always end up with 2 compressed files after showsqueeze and then a third file when it is converted to itunes though itunes integration. the third file ends up under podcasts in the itunes folder.

Thanks

I love BTV. It is one of the best SW products I have ever purchased. I have one request though, I'd love to see support for a 64b OS. Either XP 64b &/or Vista 64b. Any plans for this?

Thanks for the great product.

So let me make sure I understand. I can hook this to a cable\satellite box that has component and optical out and capture HDTV with snapstream.

Is this true? When can I get it?

What are the minimum requirements for this device. Usually with the digital source instead of the analog source you don't need as much firepower in the system. Can a pentium 4 2 ghz run this card or do you need a core 2 duo, also what video card do you have to have installed. I guess when the product is out and available they will have some data but do you guys have any ideas? Thanks and keep up the good work on BeyondTv........

Anyone know which A/V decoder chip is on these boxes that is feeding the Ambarella h.264 encoder. Is it a NXP or Conexant device?
