Beyond TV is a great product and I love the user interface. The software is well thought out and implemented. But, I am frustrated by the lack of Clear QAM support. I can only receive one digital over-the-air channel where I live and don't want to spend the money for digital cable or satellite. I check Snapstream's website every week hoping that there is a new release which supports Clear QAM with the Hauppage cards. I hope this is coming soon. I also purchased Beyond Media, but have not seen any new releases for it in a long time - has it been dropped by Snapstream? It also has a great user interface and is easy to use.

I started out running Beyond TV 4 on a 64bit system with Win XP Pro x64.
Built another Athlon 64 bit System with Beyond TV 4 with Vista home Premium x64. I have no problem with either one.

I love BTV. It is one of the best SW products I have ever purchased. I have one request though, I'd love to see support for a 64b OS. Either XP 64b &/or Vista 64b. Any plans for this?

Thanks for the great product.

I'm nwe to this site and new to the whole PC PVR thing. I've had TiVO for about 4 years and really love it, and I'd like to find a card that allows me to have the same features that the TiVo box has - namely the ability to always buffer 30 minutes of the show I'm watching without having to pause the show. With TiVO it will record two shows at the same time, my current PVR will only record what I'm watching at the time. Does anyone know if Beyond TV does these things?

Just have to give props to Snapstream, honestly this is the best software I have ever paid for. You guys do a great job and I am most thankful for this. This does not mean BTV has not given me a headache because it has plenty of times.

Most of the features in 4.8 I could careless about but have to tell you I just love the fact recorded shows can be sorted by original air date, this feature was long overdue.

I would like to see much more success for Snapstream as they must be the most dedicated company I have ever seen. I think it would be a good idea for one of the bundle packages to include an entire setup. This would be for the non-tech geeks who could not configure the unit themselves. On the order form the customer can enter in the type of equipment that it will be used for and the setup would then include the proper IR configurations... etc..

Just a thought.

Why did BTV 4.8 installation/opening change the color scheme on Vista and turn off the Aero interface? I'm likely to downgrade in order to get my computer to function fully again. This should be more clearly stated in upgrade literature.
