Surf TV listings with your Wii

DownloadSquad posts on using Couchville with the Nintendo Wii:
There have been a number of things you can do with the Wii browser (tabbed browsing, watch videos) and here’s another one to add to the list: TV listings. Sure it seems like a simple enough idea, but the trick is having a TV listing web site that is simple, easy to search, and is legible on a TV itself: enter Couchville.
I still don’t have a Wii (when are these things going to be generally available!?), but when I get one I’m definitely going to try this out.

There’s also http://www.orb.com/wii to watch your Beyond TV recordings on the Wii.

I’ve got a Wii at home and will try linking to Couchville with it!

I have been trying to watch tv shows using my Wii‘s internet browser, and have incurred numerous problems. Most streams require flash or another ‘plug-in player’ which the Wii cannot download. There needs to be a stream that is compatible with the Wii. I have had some success on a few sites but now all seems lost. If anyone knows a good site to use, please let me know.us cheers, Jethro

I am suddenly having problems with Couchville.com. I live in Clemson, SC zip code 29631 and use Northland Cable Digital. I have stations 2-53 (with a few exceptions) and then several channels in the 100, 200, and 300 groupings. I do not yet have digital access to the 400 level channels. I went through the station lineup recently and eliminated the satations we did not watch and it was great! As of this morning, I suddenly only have the 400 channels listed under Northland Cable 29631, so I am getting an empty guide. PLEASE HELP!!
Thank you. MizWiz (Patty W)

Similar problems here on the Wii. All times in bar at top of directory are smooshed together. Can’t move grid around except for beginning of day and end of day. Sad.net
